Here is the latest duet with my student Hugh.
"I live in the Netherlands and for the past 10 months, I have been taking online ukulele lessons. With Jose, I am fortunate to learn the songs that I like and have chosen myself. It's surprising how in an instant, Jose starts playing the song! Then he shows me how to write it down so I can learn how to play it. The whole process is easily visible on my computer screen, and he provides me with the notes himself. He also suggests different ways to interpret the song (fingerstyle/strumming, arpeggios, etc.). If I find it difficult, he goes step by step, even if the class time has already passed and I still have doubts, Jose sends me a video explaining everything more thoroughly. He also guides and corrects me on how to place my fingers correctly to make the song sound great! By being consistent, I realize how much I can learn! And personally, Jose is a very pleasant and honest person! An excellent teacher!"
